Our Purpose

World at War Comics began in 2022 with the purpose of creating high quality comic books and related products with the highest customer service. We are a very small startup with big aspirations and know that success is dependent on providing you, the customer, with the best experience.
We start today with Kingsville, our first title under the World at War Comics label with the hope of providing a platform in the near future for other creators to develop their creator owned universes.
We hope that our passion for this industry is apparent in everything we do.

Commitment to the Independent Comic Book Industry

Our commitment to the independent comic book community will be taken seriously. As our platform grows, we are committed to share that platform with other independent comic creators.
This commitment will include interviews on our platforms, support of Kickstarter and Indiegogo campaigns, and the purchasing of independent comic books to highlight on social media. Eventually we would like to create a shared fund to support indie comic creators and comic book stores committed to selling a wide variety of indie comic brands.

Our Consumer

We know that you, the consumer, are the reason we have this opportunity. Our commitment to you is to provide the best customer service as we possibly can. If you are ever unsatisfied with anything, you have our commitment we will do everything in our power to make it right. We hope you will enjoy the World at War universe we have created and you become a long-time supporter as we add more content in the near future! We are excited to go on this journey together.

The Team

Thomas Huls – Owner & Writer
Hello, my name is Thomas and I am the owner of World at War Comics. Like many of you, I have been a longtime fan of comic books. I started reading and collecting when I was 11 years old. My friends and I would do our paper routes early in the morning, (Yes, 35 years ago newspapers were delivered door to door and by a bunch of 10 to 15 years olds on bicycles). Once a week we would have to go door to door to collect on those papers. Anything we made after paying for the papers where ours to keep. We would then ride our bikes to our LCBS and purchase our favorite comics.
I guess not much has changed other then I am a lot older, I am married with four children who are older and starting to move out, yet I still wait for payday to be able to go to my LCBS.
I hope what we create at World at War Comics gets you excited and you become a long-time fan! Thank you
